National Business Manager
to lead and grow a dedicated retail portfolio of customers.
Reporting to a commercially astute and supportive
Sales Director
, you will be part of an energised and passionate
Commercial Team
that believes winning is a team sport and in leading through action.
Crafting and delivering
JBP's
is a core strength — our retailers will look to you as the expert in this space to craft and execute strategies that purposefully transform into long-term partnerships.
You will also co-build, achieve, and exceed annual budgets by focusing on a strong base business, with ambitious but well-constructed opportunities and planning for risks. The role is also responsible for building & executing retail activation plans and continuous improvement in promotional ROI in line with the company's pricing guidelines and commercial objectives.
You will be the face of and have accountability for the
category review process
, owning the end-to-end execution to deliver the best outcome for both RPF and the customer.
Finally, but equally importantly, you will lead a team, setting stretch goals and high expectations while promoting a growth and learning mindset.
Principle Accountabilities
Customer Management
- managing existing products and NPD, delivering strategic JBP's that meet targets.
Demand Fulfilment
- ownership of the Customer Forecast via S&OP process, prioritising effectively for goal alignment.
Champion the Customer
- executing JBP's aligned with the RPF vision and category strategy.
P&L Accountability
- managing co-investment, pricing, and promotional mechanics, collaborating with key stakeholders including Project Management, Finance, and Category Insights teams.
Skills and Experience Required
8+ years' experience in FMCG with proven category and revenue growth management skills.
Strong commercial acumen, passion for data, and ability to connect insights.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; a problem solver providing mutually beneficial growth opportunities.
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and deep understanding of shopper and retail dynamics.
Proven leadership in inspiring and motivating teams, with a focus on talent development.
Negotiation training (Sentinel / GAP preferred).
