As Viva Energy grows into a larger, independent company with a new growth strategy, this role offers significant skill development opportunities.Your responsibilities include daily activities such as liquidity management, reporting, finance, accounting, compliance, risk management, and managing transactional banking solutions, including controls framework.Responsibilities & RequirementsLiquidity ManagementMaintain and understand the Group cashflow forecast, including sensitivity and variance analysis to improve accuracy and optimize working capital and liquidity.Support trade finance activities, including bank guarantees, bonds, letters of credit, and receivables financing.Manage relationships with the back office team for cash management.Complete treasury month-end financial processes and balance sheet reconciliations.Support half-year and full-year treasury audits.Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, and internal policies.Analyze and interpret financial data.Prepare weekly treasury reports for leadership.Monitor transactions, valuations, and hedge performance daily.OtherAssist the Group Treasury Team with:M&A activities, including banking and funding setup.Ad hoc administrative duties.SystemStrong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of JD Edwards or Microsoft D365 is a plus but not mandatory.QualificationsExperience managing transactional banking solutions and controls framework.CA/CPA qualification or degree in Finance or Economics.Experience in corporate or financial institution treasury.Experience developing financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.Strong understanding of accounting principles.Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.Problem-solving skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.Knowledge of financial markets instruments and products.Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills.Additional InformationWe welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and support diversity in all roles.Please note: This role is being sourced through Viva Energy Australia; applications via external agencies will not be accepted.
