GemLife is currently seeking two Plant Operators to join our newly created second residential construction crew at our Deception Bay site in Moreton Bay.
We are expanding operations by splitting the site into two crews and are now building our second team. There's plenty of work ahead – we expect several years of ongoing projects at this site alone, with many more sites scheduled to begin this year.
As a labourer/excavator and skid steer operator, your duties will include operating the machines to scratch the pads, bringing them to the correct level, taking the remaining soil away, drilling piers, backfilling, loading spoils, moving bins around, and making deliveries. General labouring around the site will also be required when the machines are not in use.

About You
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Licensed and able to operate skid steers and excavators
* Reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and as part of a team
* Strong safety initiative
* Excellent communication skills
* General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards
* Current Driver's Licence
* Construction Industry Card (White Card)
