About the Team
This role forms part of the larger Quality division and will report to the EMC Systems Manager. The role will be based in an office and laboratory environment at our MILVEHCOE in Redbank, Ipswich, QLD.
What We Are Looking For
The team works towards a testing schedule and therefore the workload varies depending on what has been scheduled. We are looking for someone who can work outside of the regular shift hours if required.
About the Role
You will be based at the Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE), which houses our state‐of‐the‐art Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Chamber, and will join a dynamic team. You will be responsible for EMC testing of military vehicles, weapons and assemblies under the technical supervision of the EMC Engineering team, as well as supporting the management of calibrated tooling and equipment within MILVEHCOE. Appropriate training will be supplied to candidates with suitable knowledge in electrical, RF, electronics or general laboratory fields. Juniors and graduates in these fields are encouraged to apply.

* Relevant tertiary qualification
* Experience in a testing, electrical, electronics, measurement or calibration environment
* Experience in electrical testing and/or calibration
* Experience working in an ISO:17025 laboratory (desirable)
* Experience in NATA audits (desirable)
* Experience diagnosing issues with electrical systems (desirable)
* Knowledge of measurement and testing systems (desirable)
* Ability to travel interstate, when required
* Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required)
