Project Officer Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Officer to play a key role in the planning, coordination, and management of building projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with internal departments, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the scoping and design of building capital works projects. This will involve preparing documentation and plans to enable smooth project delivery, collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to refine project briefs, and assisting in managing projects through delivery stages, ensuring compliance and quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Building Design, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline
* Demonstrated experience in scoping, designing, and delivering building projects
* Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including planning, procurement, and compliance
* Familiarity with local government capital works programs or public infrastructure projects (desirable)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
