Family and Support Service Worker

About the Role
This new service supports families, carers and friends of people with alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues across NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver education, information, psychosocial interventions, assessments, case management, and group work to families, carers and friends affected by AOD use via telehealth.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams.
* Develop, monitor and review individual goal plans, maintaining accurate records, reports and data.
* Provide training and capacity building on engaging and supporting families, carers, and friends.
Requirements:
* Minimum Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline (AOD, Community Services, Case Management).
* Completed 4 AOD Skill Set Units or willing to undertake/complete during employment.
* Demonstrated ability to deal with unpredictable situations and behaviours utilising de-escalation techniques.
* At least two years' experience in recovery, if applicable.
* Sound computer literacy.
* Ability to work effectively remotely through a telehealth platform.
