We are seeking a medical receptionist with exceptional customer service skills to join our busy podiatry practice located in the Newcastle area, close to the university.
This is a casual position offering 8 hours per week (Monday's Any applicant mustalso be flexible to help cover holidays/sick days for admin colleagues on other weekdays.
Daily Position Responsibilities:
* Liaising with patients face to face and via phone.
* Answering phones, assisting patients with enquiries and making appointments
* Billing and receipting
* Reconciling end of day banking
* Typing letters
* Filing
* Invoicing
* General office duties
Essential Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in an Allied Health or Medical Administrative position preferred but not required
* Ability to work under pressure, multitask, be proactive, have superb time management & organisational skills
* Team player & able to work autonomously
