We're looking for a Senior Pastry Chef to join the lamination team at our Fitzroy venue. This is a full-time role for someone who is passionate about pastry, thrives in a fast-paced production environment, and is motivated to continually grow their skills.
Working in beautifully designed facilities with a progressive workplace culture, you'll be part of the team responsible for producing our signature viennoiserie to the highest standards. You'll bring both technical skill and a willingness to collaborate, while maintaining quality, speed, and consistency across every stage of production.
What the role involves
* Hands‐on production of viennoiserie from start to finish
* Assist with the day‐to‐day coordination of kitchen staff to align with production requirements
* Ensure that high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation are maintained to company standards
* Work as part of a cohesive team to meet daily production goals
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture
We're looking for someone who
* Has a minimum of 2 years' experience in a pastry production or restaurant kitchen
* Ideally has experience in lamination, baking, or kitchen leadership (desirable, not essential)
* Demonstrates resilience, accountability, and a positive attitude
* Is motivated, ambitious, and determined to excel in their craft
* Has full working rights in Australia, can work full‐time hours and is flexible with their rostered days
