Job Title: Credit Specialist
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization as a Credit Specialist. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for managing customer credit, processing payments and transactions, and providing exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage customer credit applications and set up new customers
* Process payments and transactions, including banking and receipting
* Handle customer credit requests and claims
* Perform account and bank reconciliations
* Evaluate and negotiate payment arrangements with customers
* Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
* Analyze and report on credit and accounts receivable data
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in credit control, collections, and accounts receivable
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to build rapport with customers and colleagues
* Strong understanding of credit legislation
* A positive and professional attitude
