Key Role: Associate Acoustics Specialist
We are seeking a skilled technical expert to lead noise and vibration assessments and inputs for various projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive acoustic evaluations, providing strategic advice, and overseeing the technical delivery of noise and vibration projects across multiple sectors.
* Relevant degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field such as Physics or Environmental Engineering
* 8+ years of applicable experience
* A deep understanding of acoustic principles and the ability to demonstrate technical acumen in noise and vibration modelling and prediction, evaluation of results, impact control, and monitoring
* Proven experience in delivering environmental acoustics-related projects; building-related acoustics experience is advantageous
* Excellent communication skills, including report writing and oral communication
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
* Membership and accreditation from relevant professional bodies (e.g., member of the Australian Acoustic Society and/or Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia) is desirable
