Overview
The Technical Business Intelligence Analyst will act as a liaison between Waters business divisions, functional IT teams, and the Business Intelligence team. This role involves working with key stakeholders to translate business strategies into technical deliverables, becoming an expert in business processes and applications to drive KPIs. The analyst will develop technical designs, ensure solutions are scalable, and collaborate with IT leadership to prioritize work and communicate progress. This position offers cross-functional exposure and is ideal for someone eager to deliver impactful intelligence projects supporting Waters' strategic decisions at the executive level.
Responsibilities
Manage and deliver analytics/report requests, translating them into actionable solutions.
Collaborate with Finance, Sales & Services, and IT teams on requirements, design, testing, and deployment of analytics and reporting solutions.
Ensure the integrity, structure, and organization of Waters data for maximum value and accuracy.
Maintain technical design documents, including system design, data lineage, change controls, and signoff.
Create insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support strategic decisions, primarily through an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Contribute to the architecture of Data Models and ETL processes based on business needs and data source knowledge.
Identify data anomalies and ensure report accuracy in collaboration with technical and functional teams.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
Expertise in SAP ECC & Salesforce data flow and structures.
Ability to explain data structures and findings effectively to stakeholders.
Proficiency in multitasking in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, relational data models, ETL tools, and data transformation.
Experience creating reports, dashboards, and summarizing large data sets for decision-making.
Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL for data profiling and analysis.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 2+ years in data analytics; master's preferred.
