Mechanical Project Engineer Role
Coordinate technical activities on assigned projects and participate in planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare designs, drawings, plans, specifications, schedules, and reports for projects, engineered systems, equipment, or components.
* Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
* Review designs to guarantee compliance with client specifications and proactively address design issues.
* Work with clients, suppliers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical queries.
* Streamline project activities and maintain schedule adherence.
* Contribute to estimating, scoping, and preparing variation quotations.
* Develop project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
* Perform organisational duties necessary to support operational requirements.
* Ensure safety and uphold Company Health and Safety policies.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry.
* Autocad proficiency or familiarity with various drawing software is advantageous.
* Experience working with multi-discipline projects is essential.
* Registered Engineer or Technician is preferred.
