We’re on the lookout for an Operations Assistant to join our team! If you’re detail-oriented, understand the importance of accurate data entry and quality information to clients, and ready to support our Container Division with essential administrative tasks, this is the perfect opportunity to establish your career with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Entry: assist with processing cartage advice, EDOs, and EDI jobs in FreightTracker.
* Invoicing: manage invoicing processes and resolve supplier issues efficiently.
* Container Monitoring: track container movements and ensure compliance with dehire timeframes.
* General Customer Service and Admin Support: communicate effectively and efficiently with clients, documentation, and data accuracy checks.
* Process Improvement: help identify areas for improvement to contribute to better operational practices.
* Safety Focus: support a positive safety culture and comply with company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Role Requirements:
* Attention to Detail: strong focus on accuracy and organisation.
* Admin Skills: organised and experience with general administrative tasks.
* Communication Skills: ability to work with team members, suppliers, and customers effectively.
* Tech Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ( essential ), and willingness to learn new systems.
* Driver’s Licence ( preferred ).
* Customer Service: enthusiastic about delivery quality service and supporting team success.
* Desirable: Familiarity with Perth Transport routes and knowledge of systems like FreightTracker, 1-Stop, or Container Chain ( preferred ).
