Taxation & Accounting Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client appointments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient booking processes.
* Prepare files for accountant meetings, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Handle mail and all communications via the ATO Portal, upholding professionalism and courtesy.
* For experienced candidates, complete SMSFs up to audit stage and manage client records effectively.
* For experienced candidates, process and complete returns for individuals, companies, and trusts, demonstrating expertise and precision.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 4–5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper within a tax and accounting firm.
* Prior experience in a taxation/accounting office environment, showcasing adaptability and teamwork.
* Proficiency in XERO and FYI software, enhancing technical skills and efficiency.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating effective collaboration and client relationships.
* Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles.
* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, supporting data analysis and reporting needs.
