We have an exciting opportunity for an
Electronics Technician
to play a key role in a high-impact program within our Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors team, based onsite at RAAF Base Edinburgh Parks.
Key responsibilities:
Perform hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance on complex radar and air traffic control systems.
Supervise junior technicians, certify tasks, and maintain compliance with defence-grade standards.
Troubleshoot faults in high-tech systems and drive solutions in real-time.
Contribute to integration and validation of electronic equipment.
Manage configuration, conduct fault trend analysis, and ensure accurate maintenance records.
About you:
Minimum Certificate III/IV in Electronics
Extensive experience in a relevant technical industry
Proven experience with complex electronic systems is highly desirable
Previous experience working with radar and/or air traffic control systems is highly desirable
Ability to work in a highly regulated, defence-aligned workplace
Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance or eligibility to obtain
Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
