**Supply Chain Manager Role Summary:**
The ideal candidate for this position will possess extensive experience in supply chain management, with a strong background in negotiation, interpersonal skills, and leadership. This role requires the ability to manage personnel in duties associated with on-boarding suppliers, quoting, negotiation, selection, and purchase order placement.
Job Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing supplier performance, driving resolution where required, and preparing and negotiating various types of agreements. They will also investigate potential suppliers for direct parts and repair services, identify shortfalls in the supplier base to support commodity requirements, and expedite quotes and orders from suppliers to ensure delivery, quality, and corporate KPIs are achieved.
Key Accountabilities:)
* Firm-Fixed Price, Not-to-Exceed, and Rough Order of Magnitude pricing preparation for the Commonwealth.
* Monitoring commodity pricing, technological developments, and general business trends.
* Investigating potential suppliers for direct parts and repair services.
* Identifying and addressing shortfalls in the supplier base to support commodity requirements.
* Expediting quotes and orders from suppliers to ensure delivery, quality, and corporate KPIs are achieved.
* Evaluating and awarding quotations received from suppliers to ensure corporate requirements are satisfied.
* Managing supplier performance and driving resolution where required.
* Preparing and negotiating various types of agreements, including Indefinite Demand, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQs), Long Term Agreements (LTAs), Contract Purchase Agreements (CPAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
* Managing and enforcing SCM planning metrics for all phases of the procurement lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Extensive supply chain experience with strong negotiation, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, preferably within the Defence Industry.
* A Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management is preferable, but relevant work experience may also be considered.
* Strong and accurate verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience leading a team.
* Demonstrated experience dealing with export/import and trade compliance requirements.
