Rotations following the initial 12-month Paediatric Orthopaedic Registrar/Fellow allocation will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.About The OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Orthopaedics team as a Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar, where you will be responsible for:Contributing to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients under consultant supervisionDemonstrating a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.Clinical experience in the practice of Orthopaedic Surgery.Understanding both the rights and responsibilities of patients and their families.Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service to the patient.Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary setting.Communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues.What WCHN Can Offer YouRelocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
