Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team.
* The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, developing strong relationships with customers and colleagues, and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
2. Sell products and develop relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and drive revenue growth.
3. Oversee and contribute to sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), working closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives.
4. Assist with staff management, including training on product knowledge, motivating team members to achieve sales targets, and supporting their professional development.
5. Assist with inductions and appraisals, providing coaching and guidance to help employees reach their full potential.
6. Assist with store functions, including visual merchandising, rostering, and inventory control, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
7. Assist the Store Manager with administrative duties as required, providing support to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within the fashion or footwear industry.
* Proven ability to meet and contribute to sales targets, with a track record of achieving results in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Ability to learn quickly and develop exceptional product knowledge across a range of fashion, footwear, and accessories.
* Excellent communication skills when interacting with customers, managers, and colleagues.
