**The Role**
National Skin Cancer Centres are seeking a friendly Patient Engagement Coordinator to join our team on a casual basis, working from home as part of our Appointment Centre. Shifts for this role may be rostered Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm, with availability to cover sick and annual leave. This role would be ideal for someone with a medical reception background who is looking for more flexibility in a remote role.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Follow up and engage with past patients with a view to booking them into one of our centres
- Respond to and convert online enquires to bookings within the required timeframe
- Manage live chat enquires
- Assist our centres with managing changes to their appointment books
- Be able to call a high number of patients in a day
- Report on the success of your calls
**You are**:
- Friendly with professional telephone manner (essential)
- Experience within either the medical industry or a call centre would be highly regarded
- Ability to deliver information effectively to a diverse range of customers
- Flexible and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Self-managed and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Experienced with Best Practice (not essential, but highly regarded)
- Authorised to work in Australia
