Position Purpose We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer to provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will deliver timely, accurate advice and support to employees and leaders, contributing to the success of the People & Culture team and the broader organisation. Key Details • Position: Human Resource Officer • Tenure: Approx. 6 months, immediate start • Location: Hybrid – part in-office, part remote • Rate: $57.80 per hour plus super The Opportunity This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work across all aspects of HR, including: • End-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding • Employee lifecycle support: probation, performance development, recognition, study assistance, and exits • HR policy advice and legislative compliance • Maintaining accurate employee records and documentation • Identifying process improvements and leveraging HR technology • Preparing research, analysis, and reporting for informed decision-making • Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships You’ll collaborate with the broader People & Culture team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting a safe, inclusive, and compliant work environment. About You – What You’ll Bring • Strong digital literacy and proficiency with HR systems (Microsoft 365 and HRIS) • Solid knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law • Demonstrated experience managing the employee lifecycle and end-to-end recruitment • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and time management • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with stakeholders • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience Potential for Growth This role offers the chance to deepen your HR expertise in a supportive, hybrid workplace, with potential for extensions or permanent placement depending on performance and business needs.
