We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team in Brisbane. This pivotal role will support frontline leaders and the workforce across multiple sites and projects in Eastern Australia.
The ideal candidate will provide practical and strategic HR advice across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with operational leaders to support business objectives, workforce planning, employee relations, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
* Deliver expert HR support across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
* Act as an SME regarding employment-related legislation and its application.
* Lead HR continuous improvement projects and initiatives, including diversity & inclusion, training, and system enhancements.
* Provide advice and assistance on human resources policies, standards, procedures, legislation, and employment agreements.
* Coach and mentor leaders to work more effectively and strategically, enhancing people leadership capability.
* Drive resource planning solutions, including the effective allocation of internal talent around the business.
* Assist in Talent Management and Succession Planning processes for all locations within their region.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:
* Significant experience in a Senior Human Resources / Employee Relations advisory role.
* Tertiary qualification in HR, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
* Demonstrated interface with Union and industrial relations processes.
* Previous experience in establishing HR systems, standards, processes, and procedures.
* Experience in grievance handling and performance management.
* Strong knowledge of Australian and international employment law.
