In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering robust financial reporting risk management, and compliance oversight across Transport for NSW. This role will see you lead the CFO certification process, develop and monitor internal controls, coordinate audit and governance reporting, and provide expert advice to strengthen organisational capability and financial integrity.
You will lead risk mitigation, navigate complex regulatory and statutory requirements, and build actionable insights and controls in a high-stakes, multi-division environment with evolving service and infrastructure priorities.
Your expertise in financial reporting internal controls, and audit management, formed across public sector finance, corporate governance, or accounting roles, will see you ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting, manage operational and financial risks, and deliver strategic insights that support decision-making across the Transport Portfolio.
You're recognised as analytical and strategic, skilled at advising senior stakeholders, adept in analytical and problem-solving abilities, and experienced in implementing governance and control processes in large, complex organisations.
