As a Digital Specialist (Contractor), you play a pivotal role in ensuring client campaigns are technically sound, measurable, and optimised for performance. You bring strong expertise in paid media, SEO and analytics, ensuring campaigns deliver tangible results. By staying up to date with industry developments, you enable PIER Marketing to deliver excellent solutions, instilling trust and confidence in our clients.

Key duties
Paid Digital Marketing
• Set up and manage campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn and other platforms as required
• Implement advanced tracking (GA4 and Tag Manager) including event conversions and remarketing audiences
• Analyse campaign data, optimise performance and provide recommendations for improvements
• Prepare accurate monthly campaign reports, highlighting results, insights and optimisation actions
• Conduct A/B testing on creative, messaging and targeting to refine campaign effectiveness
SEO & Analytics
• Conduct in-depth keyword research to guide both paid and organic strategies
• Perform SEO audits (technical, on-page and keyword analysis) and provide actionable recommendations
• Implement SEO strategies in collaboration with the content and marketing teams to improve organic visibility
• Monitor search performance, rankings and trends, producing insights for ongoing optimisation
• Deliver data-driven insights using tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console and Looker Studio
Collaboration
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to provide technical expertise and insights that support client strategies
• Support the broader team with actionable recommendations based on campaign and SEO performance
Key capabilities and skills
• Advanced technical knowledge of: Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, Looker Studio
• Strong SEO skills – keyword research, technical SEO, on-page optimisation
• High level of data analysis and reporting ability
• Proficiency in PPC campaign management and optimisation
• Strong communication skills – able to translate technical insights into clear recommendations
• Collaborative and proactive approach to campaign health and optimisation

• Occasionally attend out of normal hours networking events

Experience
• Have 3+ years’ experience in a digital marketing
• Experience working on medium sized business’ marketing an advantage

• Part-time, approximately 16-20 hours per month
• Take responsibility to ensure tasks are delivered accurately and on time
