Your new role as the Field Service Mechanic will report to the Field Service Supervisor in either a FIFO or Residential position.
Location: Kalgoorlie
Roster Options: 10 days on 4 days off 10.5hrs OR 2 weeks on 1 week off 12.5hrs OR 8/6 12.5hrs (Inclusive of meal break) - FIFO and Residential options
What You'll Do
* Responsible for carrying out warranty and customer repairs on a range of CAT machinery and associated products.
* This is a customer-facing role; you will be required to offer support and advice.
* Carry out maintenance on the customer fleet.
Skills & Experience
* Australian recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post-trade experience.
* Must have a minimum of LR Drivers Licence.
* Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
* Must have Forklift ticket.
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an isolated and remote environment.
* Ability to work and seek out work opportunities without continuous direct supervision.
* Ability to organise work teams and delegate tasks.
* Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience.
