The Opportunity
Hybrid role offers flexibility, leading a technical team and building client relationships across Australia. You'll shape and deliver projects in civil infrastructure, waste, water, and mining sectors.
Responsibilities
Lead and deliver projects focused on waste management, water infrastructure, mining, ground engineering, and cutting-edge geo-environmental solutions.
Prepare and review technical documentation for waste-related projects across planning, design, and execution phases.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.
Ensure technical excellence, oversee quality and risk management.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative team environment.
Support operational management and drive business growth in waste and environmental services.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering and over 7 years of relevant industry experience.
Extensive experience delivering high-quality design documentation.
Deep technical expertise in waste management, landfill design, leachate systems, geosynthetics, and resource recovery infrastructure.
Ability to assess and design for subsurface environmental risks, embankments, complex earthworks, and surface water management systems.
Proficiency in design software and tools producing accurate, constructible designs.
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and integrating design elements.
Proactive, solutions-focused mindset, commitment to sustainability and technical excellence.
Skills in mentoring and guiding junior to senior engineers with sound decision-making.
