**Client**
Our client specialises in supplying innovative and welfare-focused solutions to the Australian ruminant, equine, pig and poultry industries. The major products address specific animal health issues such as sub-clinical hypocalcaemia in dairy cows, as well as high-grade biosecurity products that suppresses the spread of pathogens in animal housing and improves animal health and welfare.
**Role**
Due to significant expansion the business would now like to appoint a Territory Sales Manager for Victoria, ideally based in Western Victoria or Gippsland. This role will have a major focus on the sales of dairy cow health products and biosecurity products in the livestock sector.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive the sales and business development for key products in your region
- Be actively involved in farm owner's and farm manager's training and on-farm use of the products.
- Organise and undertake workshop presentations by coordinating support from key distributors and their farm customers.
- Develop relationships with key rural vets and nutritionists who have influence in targeted regions.
**Requirements**:
- Tertiary education in Agriculture or Animal Science. Practical farming experience would also be highly regarded.
- Comprehensive exposure and work experience with dairy farmers and the dairy industry. Ruminant feed / nutritional knowledge is an advantage.
- Some knowledge of the pig and poultry industries would be beneficial.
- Competent and confident sales and relationship development capability.
- Minimum two years of sales or account management experience.
**Remuneration and Location**
The role would ideally be situated in Western Victoria, but Gippsland is also an option. The role has a competitive remuneration.
