Overview
We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to join the team at BBA Pumps Australia in Perth, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and identifying key strategic opportunities to expand our customer base. With a strong focus on developing long-term partnerships, you will leverage your expertise in sales and new business development to position BBA Pumps as the premier provider of high-quality industrial pumps and related equipment in the local market.
What you'll be doing
* Prospecting and qualifying new leads to build a robust sales pipeline
* Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious growth targets
* Cultivating strong relationships with new and existing clients through proactive outreach and exceptional customer service
* Effectively presenting and demonstrating BBA Pumps' product offerings to highlight their unique features and benefits
* Collaborating cross-functionally with the marketing, operations and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers
* Maintaining detailed records of all sales activities and pipeline progress in our CRM system
* Providing regular updates to management on sales performance and market trends
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years of proven experience in new business development or sales, preferably within the industrial equipment or B2B services sector
* Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and articulate the features and benefits of complex industrial products
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
* A solutions-oriented mindset and the drive to consistently exceed sales targets
* Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales enablement tools
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and achieving results
