Sustainable Development Commissioning Role
This senior commissioning role involves leading project staff in the management of commissioning activities, including substations, transmission lines, and ancillary support buildings. The successful candidate will work closely with Construction Managers and Project Directors to ensure works are carried out according to project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage project staff in all commissioning activities
* Evaluate and ensure that systems and components meet operational requirements
* Maintain high standards of workplace safety
* Develop and implement effective risk management strategies
* Collaborate with Environmental Teams to achieve sustainable outcomes
* Ensure testing and commissioning activities meet quality specifications
* Monitor and control costs while driving efficiency
* Provide input to commercial teams on service providers
Criteria for Selection:
* Relevant experience in commissioning large-scale complex projects
* Tertiary qualification relevant to the role
* Expertise in providing effective handback documentation
* Experience in electrical construction-based projects, including substation and transmission line commissioning
* Proven track record in delivering health, safety, quality, and environmental objectives
* Able to motivate and manage multi-disciplinary teams
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated sound legal, commercial, and risk management knowledge
