The Role
We are looking for teachers who ideally possess rigorous subject knowledge and expertise in delivering the Mathematics curriculum. An excellent knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum and a capacity to deliver content in an engaging manner are also desirable qualities. The ability to teach any of the Senior School courses will be an advantage.
Suitable applicants should have a deep belief that every student is capable of successful learning and exhibit highly effective teaching practices and a willingness to seek constant improvement in their own practice. The initiative to work well with colleagues as part of a team to develop teaching strategies, resources and approaches to ensure each student can reach their maximum potential should be addressed in your application. The successful applicant should have a growth mindset and be committed to the school’s Instructional Model which is based on practices that have a strong evidence base for their effectiveness. It is expected that all teachers will participate in the school’s Instructional Coaching program. Skills and knowledge in these areas will be highly desirable.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
