Job Opportunity:
* As a key figure in category management, you will be instrumental in embedding strategic plans for liquor categories, ensuring alignment with IBA's retail objectives.
* You will play a pivotal role in negotiating commercial deals with suppliers to achieve retailer margin expectations and develop promotional schedules that meet these goals.
* This position offers flexibility, with options to be based in our Gepps Cross office in South Australia or our Crestmead office in Queensland. However, travel is required, with interstate trips expected once every 1-2 months.
* Develop and implement strategic initiatives for liquor categories (beer, cider, wine) in conjunction with the IBA Category team.
* Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to inform category decisions and optimize business outcomes.
* Embed category strategy by creating programs aligned with channel strategic priorities.
* Collaborate with Liquor Alliance members to synchronize promotional and advertising efforts with Thirsty Camel's category strategy and marketing plans.
* Establish and maintain supplier relationships, including managing supplier profitability across our retail network through mutually agreed Joint Business Plans.
* Negotiate optimal commercial agreements with suppliers on behalf of retailers.
