Occupational Therapist Job Description
At Health First Group, we are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our rapidly growing team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assess, treat and prevent physical difficulties resulting from injury, illness, disability or ageing to improve movement and general wellbeing.
As a qualified occupational therapist, you will independently manage a varied caseload of NDIS clients including private patients, DVA, WorkCover & EPC clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assessing client needs and developing treatment plans
* Treating and preventing physical difficulties through exercise, education and other interventions
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
Required qualifications and skills include:
* Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Occupational Therapy
* AHPRA registration required
* At least 2 years' experience as a registered Occupational Therapist with 1 year experience in private practice
* Understanding of the rights of people with a disability
* Current Valid Driver's License
* Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one before commencement
