Our client, one of the top 20 mid‑tier Australian Chartered Accountant firms, is looking for a Manager/Senior Manager – Valuations to join their market‑leading Sydney Valuations team.
In this role you'll:
* Lead end‑to‑end engagements including business and share valuations for tax and accounting purposes, transaction support, Independent Expert Reports, and Purchase Price Allocations.
* Oversee research and analysis to deliver insights into comparable companies, transactions, industry trends, and market conditions.
* Prepare high‑quality valuation reports and advice across a wide range of contexts, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
* Conduct robust valuation assessments using best‑practice methodologies and advanced financial modelling techniques.
* Lead and mentor team members, providing coaching and guidance on technical valuation matters while managing client engagements from start to finish.

Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications : A degree in accounting, finance, or a recognised professional qualification
* Valuations expertise : Strong experience in accounting valuations, ideally gained within an accounting firm, boutique valuations practice, or investment firm
* Communication skills : Excellent written and verbal abilities, with the confidence to coach and guide junior team members
* Work style : Self‑motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in delivering high‑quality outcomes
* Additional credentials : CFA, Master of Applied Finance (MAppFin), or other relevant international qualifications will be highly regarded
