Recycal plays a critical role within the EcoCycle Group as the metals recycling and transport backbone of the business. The Ringwood site supports a high volume of inbound and outbound freight, customer collections and inter-site movements, requiring structured logistics coordination and clear daily execution.
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to coordinate and manage daily transport and logistics activities at our Ringwood facility. This is a hands-on, operational role requiring strong planning capability, clear communication and the ability to maintain control in a fast-paced industrial environment.
This is a full-time, on-site position, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm.
The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating daily transport operations, scheduling drivers and managing logistics workflows to ensure materials are moved safely, efficiently and in line with operational and compliance requirements. Working closely with the National Transport and Logistics Manager and site leadership, the role supports both Recycal and broader EcoCycle Group operations.
Key Responsibilities Include
· Coordinating and monitoring daily logistics and supply chain activity across suppliers, clients and internal operations
· Allocating daily transport runs and scheduling drivers to meet operational demands
· Processing driver paperwork and transport documentation accurately and in a timely manner
· Communicating clearly with yard staff regarding incoming and outgoing freight
· Resolving freight, inventory or scheduling issues promptly and effectively
· Analysing logistics data to improve efficiency and reduce transport costs
· Ensuring compliance with logistics regulations, safety requirements and company policies
· Liaising with customers and internal teams to maintain service standards and resolve escalated issues
· Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and transport operations
About You
You are organised, solutions-focused and confident managing logistics in an industrial or operational environment. You are comfortable working independently, communicating clearly with drivers and site teams, and taking ownership of daily outcomes.
You Will Bring
· Demonstrated experience in logistics coordination, fleet scheduling or transport operations
· Experience in an industrial, recycling or heavy vehicle environment (advantageous)
· Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
· Clear verbal and written communication skills
· High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
· Proficiency with logistics systems and Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
· A valid driver's licence
· Prior supervisory or leadership experience (advantageous)
