About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of capital and revenue projects across Australia and New Zealand. This role ensures alignment with network plans, annual budgets, and investment commitments while managing and reporting on M&C Capex and Revex across IM, CM, and CG categories. You'll provide strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary team of consultants, engineers, and delivery partners, driving compliance with bp standards and regulatory requirements. A strong focus on operational risk, safety, and continuous improvement of design and construction standards is critical.

Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of annual revenue and capital expenditure plans, ensuring they align with network strategies and investment priorities.
* Supervise M&C Capital Program and F&D works across CG, CM, IM, and RC categories.
* Develop front‑end‑loading strategies and detailed project execution plans.
* Monitor timelines, costs, quality, and safety, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
* Build strong contractor and supplier partnerships with HSE&C and Procurement support.

Education, Skills & Experience
Education
* Required: Core Engineering or equivalent education
* Preferred: PMP Certification (PMI), additional qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management
Skills
* Inclusive leadership across global teams (ANZ & India)
* Strong commercial competence and end‑to‑end business understanding
* Expertise in engineering, safety, operational risk, and project/program management
* Proven track record to handle large Capex/Revex budgets
* Comprehensive risk analysis and mitigation strategies
* Excellent customer management and communication influence
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
Experience
* 10+ years in Engineering, Consulting, Project & Construction Management, or Construction Operations
* Exposure in retail or fuel industry is advantageous and handling capital portfolios of $100M+
* Proven experience leading and managing geographically dispersed teams across multiple regions
