An exciting new opportunity for a Supplier Relations Specialist within the travel industry, working for the ANZ team, and of one of the most successful and dynamic global travel management companies.
This position reports directly into the teams' Operations Leader, and sits within a small, but highly engaged and motivated team of Supplier Relations Executives. The role can be based in most cities across ANZ, but where a company branch is located (either Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth,
Adelaide, Hobart or Auckland).
This key department works with a select list of suppliers in the air, land, car, and finance areas to negotiate the most preferable commercial arrangements with these suppliers, resulting in these companies being appointed as preferred partners. Supplier Relations would then guide these partnerships and provide a variety of services to achieve the company's commercial objectives.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The position requires passion and dedication in driving the supplier relations business objectives. An excellent Sabre and Tramada skillset coupled with a high level of international fares and ticketing are a must. You will be required to identify opportunities that will generate revenue for the business. This will be done by focusing on driving airfare and hotel yield opportunities. The role will also support key business projects including working with client hotel RFPs, fare loading and redistributing airfares, ticketing, and refund support.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintaining Net fare program in Sabre
- Ensure best fare options are selected with consideration of the client and company requirements
- Assisting with client hotel RFPs
- Competitor analysis
- Documenting and reporting on monthly achievements
- Educating & communicating to all internal teams on Preferred Partners
- Maintaining Supplier Relations Sharepoint page
- Source and maintain up to date airfare and market knowledge to assess competitor airfare analysis and maximise yield opportunities
- Support in running Preferred Partner incentives
- Ability to work unsupervised, independently and deliver work within deadlines
- Demonstrated effective written and interpersonal communication skills

- Beginner to intermediate level knowledge of Excel
