About the Role:As the Merchandise Co-ordinator, you’ll play an important role in supporting the wider team to ensure quality is maintained and products arrive on time. Your responsibilities will include managing the ordering and production process including timelines, relationships, terms and cost negotiations. Strong organisational and multitasking skills are key for this fast-paced role. You’ll work closely with the Owner/Creative Director and design team to deliver beautiful product.Responsibilities:Support the wider team with weekly shipping strategies, monthly inventory targets, and sales goals.Anticipate and influence inventory flow within departments.Monitor financial and unit open-to-buy metrics.Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.Manage supplier relationships and maintain the production critical path.Raise all purchase orders and negotiate costs with suppliers.About You:Experience in Buying/Planning, with a good understanding of business acumen, financial plans, and market awareness.Analytical mindset with strong influencing and problem solving skills.Experience working with manufacturers in ChinaRelevant work experience in a similar position as well as experiencein contributing to projects and collaborating internally and externallyCompetent in operational planning as well as controlling and coordinating all purchasing and supply chain activitiesCapable of guaranteeing the success of the ordering process in view of the demand forecast, stock level and product life expectancySolid skills in Excel, MS-Office and ERP (Indigo8 an advantage)What you will get :Career development & Dynamic work environmentClothing allowanceFree parking on-siteHybrid working, 3 days in office 2 days WFHBased in Gosford, 40mins by train or car from Hornsby
