About the role
You’ll be working with a range of small - medium business clients who value expert bookkeeping and clear communication. We are looking for a bookkeeper who is willing to work with us remotely, we cover the beautiful areas of Bass Coast, Mornington Peninsula, Gippsland and the Sunshine Coast.
(We are not considering overseas remote workers for this role due to BAS Agent requirement, thank you.)

A Snapshot of Your Day-to-Day
No two days will be exactly the same, but here’s what your typical week might look like; and the best part is, you’ll have a dedicated bookkeeping support team member by your side to help keep everything running smoothly.
* Keep the numbers in check – performing daily, weekly, and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.
* Manage the flow of transactions – processing accounts payable and receivable efficiently and accurately.
* Maintain the books – recording journal entries, managing general ledgers, and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Take charge of BAS and IAS – preparing and lodging statements confidently and on schedule.
* Bring the data to life – preparing management reports, profit and loss statements, and other insights that help clients understand their business performance.
* Stay organised and on track – following structured workflows in Pixie (Pure Workflow) to ensure all client tasks are completed smoothly and on time.
* Collaborate across the team – working closely with bookkeeping support and accountants to deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
* Work across leading platforms – using Xero daily, with opportunities to support clients in QuickBooks and MYOB to broaden your expertise.
* Keep quality front of mind – maintaining clear records, reviewing your work, and upholding a high standard of accuracy.
* Be a trusted point of contact – handling straightforward client queries and coordinating with accountants to ensure every file is complete and compliant.
Skills and experience
We are looking for experienced bookkeepers who are:
* BAS agents
* Minimum of five years’ experience in Bookkeeping
* Cert IV in Finance and Bookkeeping
* Xero Certified Required
* QuickBooks or MYOB Certified Valued
*Note: Part of our recruitment process is to complete a ‘Skills test’ but please don't worry if you’re a skilled bookkeeper you should breeze through it.
