We are currently seeking a Technical Services Officer to support our Victorian operations. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, based in Melbourne or northern regional Melbourne suburbs, and is ideal for individuals with a background in surveying or technical services within the resources sector.

About the Role
As a Technical Services Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality blast designs, surveys, and audits to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing technical guidance for all blasting activities on site.
* Collaborating with Area Supervisors to produce timely drill and blast designs.
* Developing and maintaining blast plans, designs, and documentation.
* Advising Operations teams on shot locations, timing, and blasting requirements.
* Preparing drill pattern plans and coordinating with Production Supervisors to minimise downtime.
* Recording blast data, analysing results, and completing reconciliations.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., vibration, noise).
* Supporting Drill & Blast crews with effective techniques and practices.
* Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Participating in incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* A background in Technical Services or Surveying, ideally within the explosives, mining, or quarrying industry.
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to manage tasks and meet targets with a high standard of customer service.
* A commitment to safety and compliance with operational procedures.
* Proficiency in mining software and engineering practices.
* Understanding of information management processes.
* A valid Open Manual Driver's Licence.
* Ability to obtain relevant licences (HCDG, Class 1, DG).
