This role is available due to a promotion of the previous Contract Administrator to Project Manager.
Job Description
The Contracts Administrator will report to the Project Manager and work collaboratively with site, design, and project teams to deliver multiple projects across Canberra from design stages through to completion.
* Manage new build projects from pre-construction to handover.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
* Develop and adjust schedules, budgets, and resources for on-time, cost-effective delivery.
* Monitor project progress, address gaps, and take corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and promote safety and quality.
* Foster a positive team culture that values hard work and support.
* Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in construction specialising in new builds.
* Expertise in estimating, cost control, and financial management.
* Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and materials.
* Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and deadlines.
* Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
* Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields.
* Valid driver's license and White Card.
