This newly created role will be instrumental in deepening customer engagement, optimising commercial systems, and enabling sustainable expansion through data-driven insights and best-practice commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Grow the customer network and build new business opportunities.
* Research new markets and prepare business cases for expansion.
* Develop proposals and tenders that clearly communicate value to customers.
* Oversee revenue capture, CRM, and ERP improvements to support commercial goals.
* Support commercial leaders and regional managers with bids and tenders.
* Manage key customer accounts and ensure long-term partnerships.
* Build team capability and succession across the commercial network.
About You:
* Experienced commercial or business development leader, ideally from logistics, transport, or industrial sectors.
* Strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship and influencing skills.
* Proven ability to improve systems, processes, and team capability.
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
