Mt Barker Community Child Care Centre are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our supportive team. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and supporting children’s development in a safe and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs
* Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
* Observe, document and assess children’s learning and development
* Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS)
Core Attributes:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must be well organised, self-motivated and a high level of dependability
* Friendly and personable manner
* Demonstrate the ability to relate to a diverse range of personalities in a mature, tactful and respectful manner
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or working towards
* Hold a current provisional or full Teacher registration or a ‘Special Authority to Teach’ from the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia
* Current Working with Children’s Check
* Child Safe Environment training
* First Aid Certificate
* Mandatory Child Safety Certificate
