About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Reservations Coordinator to join our team.
In this role you will be the key point of contact for group accommodation bookings, ensuring a seamless experience from the initial enquiry through to final account processing.
You'll work closely with our sales and operations teams to deliver exceptional service, maximise revenue opportunities, and support the smooth running of hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Efficiently manage all incoming reservation calls, emails, and enquiries from guests, travel agents, and corporate clients regarding group accommodation.
Coordinate group bookings from contract stage through to final account settlement.
Process reservations, cancellations, and amendments promptly and accurately.
Communicate group requirements, special requests, and VIP arrangements with hotel departments.
Support Group Sales initiatives and assist the Operations Team during peak check-in periods.
Handle guest complaints with professionalism, escalating to management where required.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel rooms, rates, and packages to upsell effectively.
Skills & Experience
Proficiency in Opera Cloud and Ivvy systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and confidence to make decisions under pressure.
Experience coordinating group bookings and working across multiple hotel departments.
High level of accuracy and efficiency in processing reservations and managing client requirements.
Customer-focused with the ability to build positive relationships with guests, partners, and colleagues.
