Visiting Medical Officer Position
We are seeking a skilled medical professional to join our department at Calvary Mater Newcastle, providing high-quality care to patients in the Department of Anaesthesia.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the surgical multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes, contributing to the professional development of senior and junior medical staff.
The key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and teaching rotational provisional fellows, registrars, and JMOs in the department.
* Working in collaboration with the Director of Anaesthesia to improve service delivery and patient management.
* Providing clinical services for surgical patients requiring advanced pain management and other hospital patients who require the assistance of a consultant anaesthetist.

* Commitment to own personal and professional development.
* Primary Medical Degree registrable by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) & Fellowship of the Australia & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
