About the Role
Join our talented production team at MCC Brisbane as a Print Press Operator and take your printing career to the next level! This is an exciting opportunity for trade-qualified printers who take pride in their craft and want to grow their skills using modern, industry-leading printing technology. You'll work alongside a supportive team of skilled professionals who share a passion for precision, creativity, and quality, while enjoying a dynamic role in a fast-paced production environment.
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a 2-week rotating shift roster, working 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift (36 hours per week). You will complete two weeks on day shift (6:00am – 6:00pm) followed by two weeks on night shift (6:00pm – 6:00am). This rotation then continues.
Applicants must be comfortable working both 12-hour day and night shifts as part
Duties include
* Operate advanced printing technology to deliver client orders on time and to a high‐quality standard.
* Maintain and troubleshoot machinery with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
* Inspect components regularly and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
* Uphold quality assurance practices, maintaining accurate production and quality records.
* Support and train Assistant Printers, coordinating daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.
About You
* Skilled in Offset (TCS, MO3, MO4, Lithographic), Nilpeter, Rotary, Flexographic (Flexo), or Digital print processes.
* Experience with highly embellished labels is a plus, but not essential.
* Background in printing or manufacturing environments preferred.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent quality control standards.
* Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks.
