About the Position
The Retail Manager plays a pivotal leadership role within The Trustee for Harsiddh Unit Trust, overseeing the day‐to‐day operations of the Caboolture restaurant to drive operational excellence, team performance, and profitability. This full‐time position is essential for maintaining high service standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing costs and inventory, and enhancing customer experiences in a fast‐paced quick‐service setting, ultimately supporting the business's ongoing success and growth in the local community.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies and high service standards.
* Lead recruitment, training, supervision, rostering, and performance management of staff to build and maintain an efficient, motivated team.
* Monitor and improve customer satisfaction by promptly addressing feedback, resolving complaints, and implementing service enhancements.
* Control inventory levels, coordinate stock orders, and manage supplier relationships to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
* Oversee financial aspects including sales monitoring, budget management, cost control, and contribution toward profit targets.
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety regulations, and all relevant legislation.
* Plan and implement promotional activities, merchandising, and local marketing efforts to boost customer traffic and sales.
* Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff performance, and prepare regular reports for owners and management.
* Provide strong leadership to foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements

* At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar retail or hospitality management role.
