About The Role
In this role, you will provide administrative support and generalist advice and assistance for People and Culture matters covering the employee lifecycle including leave entitlements, benefits, employment conditions, recruitment, training and performance management.

Band 5 $81,005 pa plus super
Key responsibilities
* Interpret and resolve first-contact enquiries from employees in a fast-paced shared services environment.
* Generate employment related letters for both internal and external candidates.
* Triage and escalate more complex HR enquiries and transactions to the Senior People Assist Advisors and Centres of Excellence to ensure the timely and effective resolution of complex issues.
* Assist in the preparation and processing of background checks including Reference Checks, Police Checks, WWCC, VEVO Checks.

Essential Experience
* Demonstrated success in an entry level administration support position.
* A strong customer focus, which influences all aspect work.
* The ability to define and refine processes, to streamline processes.
* Ability to manage and prioritise a mixed workload in a shared services environment.
* The ability to understand policies and procedures.
* Strong technical skills in MS applications, in particular Excel and Word.
Preferred Experience
Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
