**The Opportunity**:
The Environment & Planning Team in Sydney is growing and seeking a Consultant to join one of Australia's leading practices and work on the full range of Environment & Planning matters, both front and back end.
The role will work closely with the broader Environment & Planning and Projects teams nationally on a range of market leading work.

**About You**:
- 5+ years environment and planning experience gained within a reputable law firm or in-house
- Experience as a Senior Associate, Counsel or Consultant training and mentoring juniors
- Confidence dealing with environmental and planning matters in high-value matters and have a proven track record from an in-house perspective or in private practice (or a combination of both)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A strong drafting ability
- A commercial approach and a growing ability to negotiate contracts
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills
- Ability to be team-focused and also work independently
- A proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service
