About The Role
Step into a dynamic position where no two days are the same! You’ll be working across all imaging modalities, with a primary focus on ultrasound, alongside two other experienced sonographers. You’ll also play an important role in mentoring radiography students and junior staff as they grow into their roles.
This role includes shift work, as our department operates from 7:00 AM to midnight, seven days a week, with overnight on-call coverage.
You won’t be alone - support is always close at hand. Alongside two senior sonographers, including the site manager, you’ll receive thorough orientation and ongoing skills development to help you succeed in your role and grow within the department.

About You
We’re looking for a sonographer with a well-rounded skill set across all ultrasound areas (excluding echocardiography). However, if you’re newly qualified and eager to grow, we can provide the support and learning environment to help you advance.
Requirements
* Recognised Tertiary qualification in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent and Post Graduate Degree as a Sonographer.
* Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA) as a Diagnostic Radiographer
* Current NSW EPA Radiation licence and current registration under ASAR.
* Must hold a post graduate diploma in a specialist area of medical imaging deemed relevant to professional practice by HNELHD.
* Willingness and ability to participate in the Rosters, overtime and on-call duties as required by the site, and which may change from time to time.
* Current unrestricted driver’s license and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances.
