What the role looks like
As a Senior Investment Analyst you will undertake research and analysis to support management of the investment program. You will be a key contributor in the following areas:
Assisting your team with the management of multiple asset classes such as Equities and Real Assets
Conducting investment research and analysis
Conducting due diligence on new investments and investment managers, that supports effective assessment and selection of managers and investments
Monitoring and reviewing existing investments and investment managers in relevant asset classes
Implementation in the relevant asset classes in conjunction with the Head of Asset Class or Investment Manager
Contribute ideas, suggestions and actively support discussion on relevant asset classes
Contribute to asset class reviews and papers for the board and investment committee
Who Are We Looking For?
We're on the lookout for passionate individuals who embody our values. If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
Previous experience as a Senior Investment Analyst or Investment Analyst
A good understanding of effective Investment research and analysis to ensure positive outcomes
Experience working and liaising with Investment managers
A good understanding of multiple asset classes
Strong interpersonal skills with a collegiate approach and the ability to work independently
Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, capable of working productively and cohesively within a team environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Comprehensive understanding of the superannuation industry, particularly investments within superannuation
Relevant tertiary qualifications with post-graduate or industry accreditations viewed favourably
