Our client is a national head contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Melbourne's commercial and industrial sectors.
With a strong pipeline of secured work and projects ranging from $20M–$100M, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their growing team.
The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a key role in the financial and contractual management of projects, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing budgets, forecasts, cost plans, and financial reports
* Managing procurement, including subcontractor scopes, tender packages, analysis, and contract letting
* Overseeing progress claims, variations, and head contract requirements
* Preparing and maintaining WHS, quality, and environmental compliance documentation
* Coordinating project start-up requirements and site establishment
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
* 5+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator (Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder background highly regarded)
* Tertiary qualification in Building, Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of SOPA/legal requirements
* Proven ability in subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and variation management
* Proficiency in Procore, Aconex, MS Project, or similar platforms
* A motivated, adaptable, and collaborative approach
